End of Year Update

As we near Christmas and the end of 2024, we’ve been reflecting on the last 12 months.

It’s been a big year!

We’ve recruited 3 new people into the team this year.

Harry started in Feb and came to us to work in the warehouse after taking a break from carpet laying.

Gwyn joined Allied Fastenings in March and replaced Penny who left in January. Gwyn is our all American girl from Florida. She has been spending her time working with Darren to understand more about our customers and has been putting in orders. Gwyn has also taken up all our consumables ordering and is supporting Janscie by sending out all customer invoices and other admin tasks.

Nyle joined us in September straight from Glenfield College and has added some youthful energy to the Warehouse team

Sam and Sam were going get guns, travelling around the country all year. We are excited to be launching a full range of long thread bolts and really completing a larger set of bolt sizes for the power market. We have also welcomed new customers!

Paul and Janscie went to China in October to meet some core Chinese suppliers and had a ball while they were there (see article on the trip).

Our website review was also underway during 2024 and we were able to finally improve and update our website.

Our internal system was upgraded to a cloud-based options and while we have most of the day to day operations running smoothly 2025 will be the start of implementing some new features which should improve our some efficiencies.
